Anaya explores stillness as a vessel of memory. Emerging from silence, the figure carries ancestral presence through shadow, texture, and ritual adornment. Wooden beads encircle her like prayers, evoking lineage carried across distance. Her half-closed gaze does not seek recognition it waits holding histories that survive migration, time, and erasure.
