I made this as a sea creature, but my sister suggested Sargassum after the seaweed in the Sargasso Sea. Warming oceans, fertilizer runoff, and deforestation increase nutrients and CO2, fuelling massive Sargassum blooms which disrupt marine ecosystems, smother beaches and release methane as they rot, contributing further to global warming in a harmful feedback loop.
