I went to Thredbo with friends, and along the way was dismayed at how many snow gum giants lay like carcasses across the landscape. They’d died because there wasn’t enough water to support the root system as the snow line retreats. It broke my heart. So I collected dead pieces and brought them a form of life in a necklace that represents tectonic plate shift, that also contributes to earth’s upheaval.
