Solar Rays reflects the beauty and danger of sunlight, from the equator to the poles, in a changed world. Six strands of mined jasper beads, shifting in tone from fiery red to deep indigo, capture the spectrum of a warming planet. As solar rays intensify through atmospheric imbalance, heat builds, ice melts, and extremes grow. Perhaps I should have named this Gravitas?
