Recycled wood, fresh water pearls, leather

Top end is a piece of wood rescued from Australia’s burning forests. I’ve imbedded it with giant freshwater pearls that gleam like watchful eyes. Resembling a crocodile – ancient, enduring, and fierce – or an ancient boat, this necklace speaks of survival in a land shaped by extremes. It honours resilience, warning us: climate change is no myth, and nature remembers everything.
