Ficus coronata is a small tree to 15m. The common name refers to the rough leaves used by Aboriginal people for smoothing weapons and tools. The fruit, appearing on both stems and trunk, is edible when it ripens to a deep purple. Found in rainforests in QLD, NSW, NT, WA.
