Araucaria bidwillii is of cultural and spiritual significance to Aboriginal people. Aboriginal groups have gathered to celebrate and feast on the nuts. The kernel of the nut was eaten raw or ground into a paste to make bread. The bunya shoots were also eaten. Found in QLD.
