Bulbine semibarbata is a yellow flowering herbaceous annual. The leaves are cylindrical, fleshy and up to 20cm long. Unlike other Bulbine species, it has hairy roots and does not form a tuber. The fleshy leaves were cooked before eating by Aboriginal people. Found in WA, SA, VIC, NSW, QLD.
