Aegiceras corniculatum, commonly known as river mangrove, grow on the intertidal estuaries and coastal rivers as far south as Merimbula. Aboriginal people used the river mangrove to make shields and wooden implements. The tiny flowers provided nectar for honey. Found in NSW, QLD.
