Syzygium suborbiculare produces edible red apple-like fruit which were eaten raw. The juice of the cooked apple was used to soothe sore throats and chest congestion. Infused leaves were used to treat stomach problems, while heated leaves were applied to wounds to stop bleeding and swelling. Found in NT, QLD.
