Fistulina spiculifera has the common name of Australian beefsteak fungus. It can be found on eucalyptus and syncarpis trees, especially after fire. Eaten cooked or raw, with a meaty taste. The artwork demonstrates young and old fruit bodies, dissected specimens, and the underside. Found in WA, TAS, NSW, VIC, QLD.
