MEET THE MAKER

Clewdoodle Jewellery is designed and personally handcrafted in Melbourne by Caitlin Lewis. Originally trained in chemistry, Caitlin is fascinated by materials, their properties and interactions. This interest strongly informs her artistic practice, with each piece a loving, tactile transformation of simple precursors (wire, sheet metal) into functional yet beautiful jewellery.

Clewdoodle Jewellery is designed to have a simple, clean aesthetic with an emphasis on texture. Metal surfaces may be hammered, stamped, brushed, or imprinted with fabrics or natural fibres. The pieces often reflect a sense of humour and whimsy, and Caitlin’s belief that jewellery can connect people, tell stories, hold memories, and empower the wearer.
