Umbra — meaning shadow, carries the same hollow as its sibling, carved to swallow light rather than let it through. Like the spherical imprint left behind for an instant after a bubble bursts in primordial ooze: there at the beginnings of life, held for a breath before it's gone. Can be displayed as a table or wall piece.
