Although hefty and solid with a 5mm spine, the Serbian cleaver makes an excellent veggie knife. Hand forged and twisted Damascus steel of 21 layers (steels are 1084 and 15N20) with a rugged forged look at the top of the blade. The wood is Queensland maple burl with a central mosaic pin and stainless solid and hollow pins at either end. Brass and red G10 liners under the wood.
