Ganga is the goddess of the sacred river Ganges, in India, which is deeply connected to life, purification, and spiritual liberation. It’s heavily and dangerously polluted but because the river is sacred to so many, there are now inspiring efforts to drive restoration projects that help rejuvenate ecosystems. These offer hope for stronger climate resilience to a nation that depends on its main river for life.
