Kala Sutra is a Sanskrit word that means Thread of Time, or cosmic unfolding of a guiding principle. It evokes the ancient spinning whorl as a metaphor for the threads that humanity has woven across millennia, now strained by environmental imbalance. The shells mirror the balance and imbalance between nature’s rhythm, and human impact. Shells spiral like time – and consequences. Let’s mend our fraying, unravelling world.
