Amber (and carnelian) has long been treasured for its protective and healing properties as well as its capacity to store information of long gone fragments of time. It comes from ancient, drowned forests and is usually washed up on beaches. These pieces are resin, with sea matter artfully preserved in a man-made material, preserving our current stories.
