Inspired by visiting the shores of the Bay of Fires and Freycinet in Tasmania. I was moved by the history of this place and its importance to the indigenous people in this part of Australia.
The surfaces and forms of this beautiful bay are suggested in the abstract compositions. Space is implied and the image draws the viewer into the composition.
The circle is considered the perfect form - neverending and complete. The use of a large circle holding and connecting all the elements of these images is intentional It holds the viewer and the forms in place - it also protects and embraces.
