Pterostylis coccina exhibits different forms. Non-flowering plants have a rosette of flat leaves, while flowering plants feature a single flower with leaves on the spike. The starch-rich tubers of these terrestrial orchids significantly contributed to the diets of Aboriginal people. Found in TAS, VIC, NSW.
