Components of a Moment emerged from a willingness to challenge my practice as an artist, both in the materials I use and the methods I apply. Beginning with ideas of impermanence and a shifting sense of place, the work traces the tension between constant transformation and an instinctive pull toward what feels stable and predictable. Layer by layer—organic and geometric forms, transparent washes and opaque interruptions, gestures both bold and delicate— become a record of the quiet contradictions and fleeting moments between change and stillness.
