Estelle Briedis is a textile designer and screen printer based between her studio in Queanbeyan NSW and Megalo Print Studio and Gallery in Kingston, ACT. Her practice focuses on creating repeat patterns for functional design objects and artworks by combining hand-drawn motifs with digital design and traditional screen printing. From these processes, she uses repetition, scale, and surface to transform both the material and space.
Estelle graduated from the Australian National University School of Art and Design in 2015 with First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Design Arts, majoring in Textiles. Her work has been exhibited nationally, and her design work is available through a range of retailers across Australia. Estelle currently works as a Technical Officer at the Australian National University School of Art and Design and teaches repeat screen-printing at Megalo. @estellebriedis
