Porcelain, recycled hardwood frame
330mm high
250mm wide
50mm deep
These porcelain rosella wings, embossed from a carved linocut, turn soft, delicate forms into enduring fragments of fired clay. The work reflects how learning the details and anatomy of nature fosters care, reminding us that ecosystems cannot rely on endless “spare parts.” To know these details is to recognise their worth.
Please note, this artwork is currently on exhibition at Belconnen Arts Centre and will not be available for pick-up or delivery until the exhibition has closed. Please check the Belco Arts website for exhibition dates.
