Print collage with recycled hardwood frame/shelf

These shelves bring together reclaimed material, printmaking process, and the quiet habit of collecting. Built from an old hardwood gate, the shelves carry the weathered character (and irregularity) of timber shaped by time and reuse. Their collage backdrops are assembled from print tests and misprints, fragments showing the many adjustments, ink trials, and small failures that lead to a final print edition. I am a collector of natural objects, and I know how easily they can take over every surface. These shelves offer a place to gather and curate those found pieces from walks, journeys, and quiet moments of noticing.
