This was the first time I had painted in the rain under an umbrella. It was not raining when I set out but with a storm brewing, the light was ideal painting conditions. I took an umbrella just in case and it turned out quite possible to paint brolly and pallet in one hand. This gorge is great walk and swim. Malongalo George, where the scenic train ride from Canberra to Sydney passes into the wilderness.
