I am from Argentina, a land of stark contrasts and profound beauty. I grew up in the hot north amidst warm landscapes and vibrant colours. However, in the south of Argentina, the colours of my flag, Celeste y Blanco (sky blue and white), manifest with unparalleled clarity. The icy blue of the glaciers and the pristine white of the snow in the southern region feel almost like a different country to me. My artwork captures this breathtaking contrast, reflecting my journey as a migrant from Argentina to the Canberra region, which I now call home. Through this piece, I aim to share the profound connection between my heritage and my new life in Australia, blending traditional and contemporary perspectives to tell my story.
