I wanted to try and express some of the confusion and loss of sense of self I experienced as a new migrant in Canberra. Leaving your family and friends, culture and past behind, and trying to find a new path in a new country can be overwhelming and lead to loss of self-confidence and a breaking down of your identity. I feel like there is no way back to your former self as your migration journey changes you forever.
