These two artist books explore contrasting phases of life through a monochrome palette. One book is composed entirely of white papers, while the other features a range of black papers. White evokes shared experiences of joy, connection and clarity – moments that feel expansive and communal. Black, by contrast, speaks to the more challenging, introspective phases – grief, trauma, solitude and transformation. The monochrome palette becomes a quiet language: one that invites reflection, intimacy and a sensory engagement.
