One of the Nordic myths about the God, Odin, references his 2 ravens, Huginn and Muninn, who rest on his shoulders. Odin sends them out each day to fly over the world to gather news. I have chosen to represent these ravens as arrows. Huginn (Thought) represents the active, forward thinking aspect of the mind. Muninn (Memory) embodies the reflective historical and foundational aspects of the mind. These 2 ravens sumbolise Odin's all encompassing knowledge, acting as his messengers, to maintain wisdom over all realms.
