Hand made porcelain plate featuring a "Thryptomene" flower stem that has been pressed into the clay and then removed ensuring its intricate pattern with its many tiny, deicate, pink flowers remains. After firing in the kiln, the flower pattern is hand painted with underglaze colours (a little like watercolours), coated in a glossy glaze, and then fired again creating a decorative food safe plate. Every plate is unique as the flower stem cannot be pressed into the clay the same way twice. The perfect dish for berries, snacks, condiments or even jewellery.
