Hand made porcelain plate featuring a "Banksia Integrifolia" flower stem that has been pressed into the clay and then removed ensuring its intricate pattern remains. After firing in the kiln, the flower and leaf pattern is hand painted with underglaze colours (a little like watercolours), coated in a glossy glaze, and then fired again creating a decorative food safe plate. A one-of-a-kind serving plate or cake plate that celebrates our extraordinary native flora.
