MEET THE MAKER 

Romanda Newman uses porcelain to highlight the beauty of our most familiar native flowers such as Bottlebrush, Grevillea, Banksia, Christmas Bush, and more. During regular walks around her neighbourhood, Romanda forages small pieces of flora and presses them into her porcelain clay creating an imprint which captures the intricate pattern of the flower forever. Every hand-built bowl, plate and piece of jewellery has been lovingly crafted to capture the essence of our unique flora.

Every item is made from porcelain, is hand painted, and is dishwasher safe. Romanda is based in Sydney, has been making ceramics for 20 years, and teaches regular porcelain hand building classes.
