Hand made porcelain plate featuring a "Callistemon", or more commonly known as a "Bottlebrush" flower that has been pressed into the clay and then removed ensuring its intricate pattern remains. After firing in the kiln, the flower pattern is hand painted with underglaze colours (a little like watercolours), coated in a glossy glaze, and then fired again creating a decorative food safe plate. Every plate is unique as the flower cannot be pressed into the clay the same way twice. The perfect dish for berries, snacks, condiments or even jewellery.
